Blues Bass Backing Track -12 Bar Blues in G
DOWNLOAD LESSON RESOURCES PACK
Here we have a tasty blues bass backing track for you to jam over. The tempo is 85 BPM.
This is a standard 12 bar blues progression in the key of G.
Start by outlining the chord changes using chord tones only.
Once you get comfortable with the progression, experiment with adding chromatic passing notes as well as composing simple blues lines using Pentatonic and Mixolydian scales.
Groove tips: concentrate on the kick drum and really dig into a laid back feel. Play slightly behind the beat in order to find the pocket for this one.
